What is Failure Frame about?
Failure Frame: I Became the Strongest and Annihilated Everything with Low-Level Spells is a dark fantasy isekai light novel series conceived by author Kaoru Shinozaki.
The series debuted online on the Shosetsuka ni Naro user-generated content platform on November 24, 2017.
Following its initial success, Overlap Bunko acquired the light novels for print publication, with illustrations provided by KWKM. The first published light novel volume appeared on July 25, 2018.
The Failure Frame series was further expanded on July 26, 2019, with a manga adaptation serialized in Comic Gardo. Authored by Keyaki Uchi-Uchi and illustrated by Soo Uyoshi, the manga adaptation has released nine volumes as of January 2024.
On January 23, 2024, at the 10th Anniversary Memorial Overlap Bunko All-Star Assemble Special event, the anime adaptation of Failure Frame was announced. This anime will be produced by the Japanese animation studio Seven Arcs in partnership with SynergySP.
