Demon Slayer’s main protagonist wasn’t the only one worst for wear. His Nichirin Sword suffered heavy damage yet again. He then journeyed to the secret village of the Demon Slayer swordsmiths to explain how his sword was so severely damaged to Hotaru Haganezuka, the smith who forged his blade.

After meeting with the chief of the Swordsmith Village, Tanjiro comes across the Love Hashira, Mitsuri Kanroji, who whispers to him about a mysterious secret weapon that could make him stronger.

This new information causes Tanjiro to search through the forest to look for the secret weapon. He then sees the Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito, arguing with one of the villagers.

After getting a closer look, Tanjiro sees a mysterious character sporting the same hairstyle as Kokushibo, the highest-ranking member of the Twelve Demon Moons. The Upper Rank One demon is the right-hand man to the Demon King Muzan Kibutsuji and was show during the gathering at the start of the movie.

Despite their similar appearance, the mysterious figure in front of Muichiro is not Kokushibo. It is actually the Yoriichi Type Zero, a battle doll created by swordsmiths 500 years ago during the Sengoku Era.
