Natus Vincere’s CS:GO superstar Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyljev is convinced he has the pontential to dominate the Valorant esports scene.

The PGL Stockholm Major and Intel Grand Slam winner hopped on Tarik “Tarik” Celik’s watch party to support NAVI when they faced Team Secret on the tenth day of VCT LOCK//IN.

While on the call, the CS:GO legend claimed he could replace anyone on NAVI’s Valorant team and still win.

Despite Team Secret’s surprising 4-1 start against NAVI on Icebox, s1mple was not impressed with the Filipino team’s performance.

“If I would sit instead of any other NAVI player right now, I would destroy them,” he said.

The CS:GO legend described what he would do and even said he could best his opponents while handicapped.

“I’ll just shoot them in the head,” he said. “I don’t even need skills. That’s why I play Reyna. I don’t buy armor, and I don’t buy flashes. I just buy two spells, Vandal, and let’s go. Let’s get it.”



NAVI’s current Valorant team includes four former FunPlus Phoenix players that VCT Masters Copenhagen, along with Valorant Champions 2021 winner Mehmet “cNed” İpek.

S1mple is widely regarded as CS: GO’s greatest player of all time. He has won multiple high-profile CS:GO tournaments that earned him over US$1.7 million in total prize money winnings. 

Besides collecting tournament trophies, he has a long list of individual accomplishments that separates him from his peers.

The Ukrainian pro has won a record 21 HLTV MVP medals and was crowned the best CS:GO player in the world in 2018, 2021, and 2022.
