RRQ Hoshi’s roster for MPL ID Season 7 has taken a dramatic turn with a surprise announcement from one of its core players as Yesaya “Xinnn” Wowiling has confirmed that he will not be playing for the upcoming season.

The news came out on ML personality Yurino “Donkey” Putra’s stream, where Xinnn briefly said that he would a take a break from professional play.

“Yes, I will take a break during MPL ID S7. I also didn’t participate in media day so, automatically, many discovered that I will not play,” said the RRQ player.

This leaves RRQ’s S7 line-up in an interesting place in terms of gameplay. The King of Kings has already steered away from their previous MPL ID style of two cores with Xinnn and Alberttt. In recent appearances like the M2 World Championship, RRQ only relied on one hypercarry on the field to play out their matches.

With Alberttt now being the prioritized hypercarry in the roster, we may see him grow exponentially and lead the offensive front of the team. If ever he is unable to perform through Season 7, the team will still have veteran Mohd “Wizzking” Zulkifli as their reserve hypercarry.

RRQ Hoshi recently signed tank player Fadhil “Taka” Asra, meaning that RRQ might go for a more defensive playstyle for the upcoming season. Taka has also tried his hand in the support and mage heroes so we may see him pull through as a multirole asset to the squad.

With such big roster changes, RRQ Hoshi is gearing up to conquer the seventh season and bring home a potential three-peat championship. The King of Kings may have a few more tricks to secure their return to the MPL ID throne.
