Phoveus, the Shadow of Dread, is Mobile Legends: Bang Bang‘s newest fighter hero.

He’s got clearly defined muscles, he’s got stunningly hard abs, and best of all, he’s got a big sexy flail with a name — Astaros.

According to Moonton’s hero spotlight, Phoveus’ weapon, Astaros, holds mysterious powers which he manipulates. Interestingly, Astaros is “especially sensitive to fast-moving prey”.

When an enemy hero uses a blink or charge skill within range, it reduces all of Phoveus’ skill cooldowns or charge times by a certain proportion.

First skill – Malefic Terror

Phoveus smashes the ground and unleashes Astaros Dread, dealing magic damage to the target in the area of effect.

Astaros Dread spreads upon hitting an enemy hero, and gives Phoveus a shield and increases his movement speed temporarily. This skill gains one charge every few seconds.

Second skill – Astaros Eye

Astaros Eye spies on enemies, and after a short delay it will start shrinking, pulling all enemies on it into its center while dealing damage. Its concept is similar to the effect you get when you combine Luo Yi’s Ying and Yang.

Ultimate – Demonic Force

Astaros keeps a watchful gaze on the area around Phoveus. If it sees an enemy hero using blink or charge skills, it activates to cast a mark upon them.

During this time, Phoveus can instantly blink to their location to deliver a fierce blow, dealing damage to the target and the area around it.

Once Demonic Force is activated, it can be cast repeatedly at the cost of mana as long as the required conditions are met.
