After getting postponed last year, the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup 2021 (MSC 2021) is back, and will be one of the biggest MLBB tournaments this year.

Here’s everything you need to know about the tournament before it begins in June 2021.


What is MSC 2021?

The tournament will feature 12 of the best teams in Southeast Asia. There will be two team representing each MPL region, and one representative for each non-MPL region.


MSC 2021 full schedule and results

The tournament will run from June 7 to 13. The first two group stages will be held from June 7 to 9.

After a two-day break, playoffs will take place from June 11 to 13.

MSC 2021 also boasts a whopping $150,000 prize pool, and will be held online due to COVID-19 restrictions.

MSC 2021 group draw format

Twelve teams will each be assigned to different pools. Pool 1 will be for the MPL teams who won the championship, the Pool 2 is for those who came in second in their respective region, and Pool 3 will be for non-MPL teams.

One team from each pool will then be placed in a group. A lottery will then take place on June 2 to determine what team from each pool will be placed in one of four groups.

No team from the same region will be part of one group. A re-roll will happen if in case two teams from the same region are drawn for a group.
