Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Philippines Season 9 (MPL PH Season 9) returns today for its second week.

TNC and ECHO are currently on top of the standings with a 2-0 record while MPL PH Season 8 defending champion Blacklist International have yet to win a series.

Will the teams at the bottom flip the switch, or will the strong starter teams prevail after the matches this MPL PH Season 9 Week 2?

Here are 3 must-watch matches for MPL PH Season 9 Week 2

TNC vs ECHO

Two of the most exciting teams this season will finally clash in the Land of Dawn.

ECHO has proven their “super team” moniker after they dominated last week against Bren Esports and Omega Esports.

TNC, on the other hand, suddenly went from an average team to a legitimate title contender after they won their matches against Omega Esports and Blacklist International with a fairly new lineup.

Does ECHO deserve the right to be called a super team, or will TNC take their spot and become the strongest team this MPL PH Season 9 Week 2?

TNC will be up against ECHO on February 26, Saturday, at 4 p.m. GMT+8.

Nexplay EVOS vs Bren Esports

This series will be a battle between rookies this MPL PH Season 9 Week 2.

Nexplay EVOS rookie Michael “MP the King” Endinov starred in the team’s first win last week, dismantling ONIC PH with a 2-0 record. The other players, who were originally from AP Esports, also played beautifully last week.

Even though Bren Esports weren’t able to get the win last week against ECHO, the former ArkAngel rookies showed flashes of brilliance against one of the strongest teams this season.

Nexplay EVOS will face Bren Esports on February 27, Sunday, at 6 p.m. GMT+8.

Omega Esports vs RSG PH

RSG PH are off to a good start after defeating Nexplay EVOS last week, a team they weren’t able to defeat at all last MPL PH Season 8.

It’s a different story for Omega Esports, as they could not find any victories in Week 1 against TNC and ECHO.

We look forward to see how Omega Esports will adapt coming into MPL PH Season 9 Week 2, and whether RSG PH will maintain the momentum against the fan favorites.

Omega Esports will face RSG PH on February 26, Saturday, at 8 p.m. GMT+8.
