If you’re looking for something fresh in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang competitive scene, you’re in for a treat!

Todak’s star jungler Danial “Ciku” Fuad has cemented himself as a player to look out for after locking in a jungle Hylos and Akai against Red Esports in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Malaysia Season 8 (MPL MY Season 8).

Tanks as junglers are uncommon in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, especially in the competitive scene where teams usually opt for assassins or marksmen in this crucial position.

In the first game, Ciku locked in Hylos, which surprised the casters and viewers. Hylos, known for being an defensive-heavy initiator, being played as a jungler in the competitive scene? Unthinkable.

Todak ended up winning the game at the 12-minute mark. Ciku’s Hylos finished with a 2/2/10 KDA, which is decent considering that off-meta Hylos is hardly seen in the jungle.

  • Clock of Destiny
  • Oracle
  • Bruteforce Breastplate
  • Dreadnought Armor

Ciku planned on completing his item build with an Antique Cuirass, for he already finished one component of it with Dreadnought Armor. Immortality is most likely his final item in this build, since he went for the standard tank build on Hylos.

Just when you thought the excitement is all over, Ciku locked in Akai in the second game, another tank hero who is not usually played as a jungler in ranked or competitive play.

Despite having less damage output and kill potential, Ciku did amazing with the Panda hero. Together with Todak, they ended the victorious match at the 12-minute mark, where Ciku finished with a perfect 1/0/8 KDA.

Running a High and Dry assassin emblem setup, Akai was zooming in and out of the battlefield, and Red Esports simply couldn’t find ways to shut down the hero.

  • Radiant Armor
  • Bruteforce Breastplate
  • Athena’s Shield

The last two items were not equipped, as the game finished before he had the chance to complete his build. In this situation, building Guardian Helmet and Immortality would make the most sense if the game went for another 10 minutes.
