It doesn’t matter which League of Legends season it is — you can always trust the community to keep track of the exact number of days since a champion last received a skin.

For Lux, Ezreal, and Ashe enthusiasts, that number has consistently remained low.

For less popular champions with lower pick rates, or those who aren’t “anime enough,” the number of days can go up to the hundreds.

These four champions fall into that category: Aurelion Sol, Ivern, Kled, and Kalista. In their latest LoL Pls update, Riot Games has confirmed that all of them are finally getting a new look in 2023.

The Marauder thematic, which includes Marauder Kled and Kalista, debuted in January 2021. But who uses Marauder Kalista anyway? Blood Moon and Championship all the way.

The last Ivern skin released was Old God Ivern — one we scarcely remember exists — on December 10, 2020. That’s more than two years ago.

Trailing the furthest behind is Aurelion Sol. Storm Dragon Aurelion Sol came out on October 1, 2020, which is more than 800 days ago.

These champions also have the least number of total skins to their name, with only three to four outfits.

Kalista’s skin will be part of the magical Fae skin line, joining the ranks of Fae Dragon Ashe, Tranquility Dragon Karma, and Duality Dragon Volibear to name a few.

Riot Games also confirmed that they’ll be adding more to their widely popular pet skin line. Joining the adorable Pug’Maw and Corgi Corki are Kled and Kindred for 2023.

The two champions that haven’t received new skins in the longest time are Dr. Mundo and Udyr. However, they did get a major gameplay and visual effect update in 2022, which breathed new life into these tanky fighters.

Next in line is Nocturne, who hasn’t had a new skin since August 29, 2019, when Old God Nocturne was released.
