In version 4.4, he takes center stage with a free Xingqiu skin available during this year’s Lantern Rite Festival.
The free Xingqiu skin deviates from the traditional Chinese attire, replacing the character’s long, dark teal silk coat with a frilly tailcoat. The new ensemble features a blend of deep and bright shades of blue, adorned with abundant frills, ruffles, and ribbons.

Notably, the costume draws inspiration from the clothing style of Fontaine, the Hydro nation in Teyvat.

How to get your free Xingqiu skin “Bamboo Rain”
To obtain Xingqiu’s “Bamboo Rain” outfit, players must participate in Lantern Rite 2024’s event called “Vibrant Harriers Aloft in Spring Breeze.”
By reaching 600 Festive Fever during the Lantern Rite, players will obtain the skin for free.
After the end of version 4.4, “Bamboo Rain” will be available for purchase in the Character Outfit Shop for 1,680 Genesis Crystals.
How to participate in Genshin Impact Lantern Rite 2024’s “Vibrant Harriers Aloft in Spring Breeze“
This year’s Lantern Rite features three main activities:
- Paper Shadows A-Foraging: In this paper theater, travelers must guide Guoba and Yuegui to find ingredients to make tasty dishes
- Joyful Beasts and their Auspices: – In this co-op mini-game, players can experience the charm of Wushou Dance
- Iridescent Cloud-Striding: Players can use the “Golden Carp’s Leap” to fly through the air, surrounded by exploding fireworks

Once you complete all the tasks in the event, you will be able to obtain and unlock the Xingqiu skin “Bamboo Rain”.
