What is the XDefiant Open Beta?

The Open Beta is the next testing phase where players can try out the game and provide valuable feedback to the game’s developer, Ubisoft.

It allows participants to get a firsthand look at the gameplay mechanics, features, and overall experience of XDefiant, contributing to the game’s development process.

Plenty of feedback was received from the Closed Beta back in April, with lots being implemented for this go around.

When is the XDefiant Open Beta?

Despite some fans thinking they can jump in on June 20, the actual Open Beta starts on June 21, 2023.

June 20 is available as an “open session” only available to those who participated in the Closed Beta. This will give them essentially one extra day of game time.

According to a member of the XDefiant team in the official discord, “For [open session] access, you would’ve needed to launch XDefiant during the Closed Beta at least once. Otherwise, you should be all set tomorrow once the [open beta] goes live.”

Those who did not get into the Closed Beta will be able to play from Wednesday, June 21 at 10 a.m. PT | 1 p.m. ET | 5p.m. GMT until Friday, June 23 at 11 p.m. PT | 2 a.m. ET. 6a.m. GMT
