The ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) and Qualcomm Technologies Inc. announced today the expansion of the Snapdragon Pro Series into its third year, making it the largest mobile esports league globally.

This year, the series will have a historic prize pool of up to nearly US$4.4 million and will feature seven of the world’s most popular mobile games.

The expansion includes collaborations with leading game publishers such as Activision Publishing, Inc., Moonton Games, and Supercell, promising competitors more opportunities to showcase their skills on a global stage.

Sam Braithwaite, VP of Game Ecosystems, Mobile at EFG, emphasized the growth of mobile esports. “Mobile is the future of esports,” he stated.

Year 2 of the Snapdragon Pro Series saw significant growth, with nearly 1 billion matches played — a staggering increase of over 13,000 percent from the previous year — and 4.4 million competitors signing up from across the globe.

Viewership also spiked, with 23.7 million hours watched, marking a 231 percent increase.

The third year of the Snapdragon Pro Series will include a diverse range of competitions starting with the Mobile Open across various titles through April, concluding with the Mobile Masters in 2025.

Moonton Games and Riot Games end lawsuit disputes with global settlement

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang will be added to Masters-level competitions in Southeast Asia, a region where mobile gaming consumption has been doubling annually for the past four years.

This year will also see the return of the Call of Duty: Mobile esports circuit, alongside expanded partnerships with Moonton Games and Supercell.

These collaborations are intended to give fans more ways to watch, compete, and win in some of the most popular mobile games available today.
