After warming up the crowd, Miyamoto went through the huge green pipe at the entrance of Super Nintendo World.

“In the games, we didn’t really show the interior of the pipes. (For Super Nintendo World,) we went with a straightforward warp pipe,” he said as he walked through the green tunnel. The end of the green pipe showed the lobby of the Mushroom Castle with music playing taken from Super Mario 64.

After getting past the gate, park-goers will be transported into Super Nintendo World’s grounds where they will be greeted by a spectacular view of the attractions as if they have just been transported to the real world version of the Mushroom Kingdom. In the middle of the scenery is the Mount Beanpole, with the end flag at the top.
