Is XDefiant going to be free?

The game has drawn tons of attention since its Closed Beta stage back in April. The first-person shooter community has been eagerly waiting for the opportunity to jump back into the game and see what adjustments have been made since.

In terms of whether or not the game will be free at launch, you’ll be happy to learn that it will be.

The game will not cost a dime to jump into, and there’s already an extensive roadmap that provides a look at four different seasons planned for the game’s first year. As of now, however, there are no set dates for when these seasons will launch.

Will XDefiant be on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox S|X

If you want some more good news, the game will also be cross-platform, meaning you can play whether you’re on PC, Xbox, or PlayStation so long as you have the latest models. Sorry to those with a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.

Set to launch in the summer of 2023, fans can keep an eye out for it by visiting the XDefiant page on the Ubisoft Connect platform and clicking the “Get Notified” button.
