Tommy “Taiga” Le was moved to the inactive roster for OG following Sébastien “Ceb” Debs’ return to the roster, who will occupy the same position four role.

Taiga has been one of the most flexible players for OG, often switching between the two support roles to accommodate for substitutes and player-coach swaps over the past two years.

Taiga on OG departure: ‘I wish it didn’t end this way’

“All good things must come to an end. Thankful for my time at OG, although I wish it didn’t end this way,” Taiga wrote on his personal Twitter.

The support player can explore his options ahead of the TI12 qualifiers, as written by both OG and Taiga in their announcements.

OG had failed to qualify directly for The International 12 in a stacked Western Europe region, only attending one Major this year — the ESL One Berlin Major in May, where they finished tied-fifth. That tournament also featured two stand-ins, Ivan “MinD_ContRoL” Ivanov and Kartik “Kitrak” Rathi.

  • Artem “Yuragi” Golubiev
  • Bozhidar “bzm” Bogdanov
  • Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin
  • Sébastien “Ceb” Debs
  • Mikhail “Misha” Agatov (coach)
  • Evgenii “Chu” Makarov (coach)

The roster retains two players — Yuragi and bzm — from the organization’s refreshed Dota 2 lineup in 2021, when Ceb, Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen, and Johan “N0tail” Sundstein announced breaks from competitive Dota 2.

OG will still require a position five before the start of TI12 WEU qualifiers, beginning August 27. This will be the last change for the roster since teams cannot change more than two players out from their final tour roster to participate in the qualifiers.

As for who’s filling out position five, both of OG’s coaches have played for its main roster as position five. OG has also relied on Kitrak as a stand-in — who was part of a support duo with Ceb while they competed under Old G.
