CIS organization HellRaisers (HR) has announced that they have acquired Ilya “Lil” Ilyuk to be their new position 4 support player as they continue to reform their Dota 2 roster around Alexander “Nix” Levin.

After an unsuccessful stint with Winstrike at the start of the season, Lil led the EU stack Aggressive Mode from January to March before returning to compete in the CIS region as a stand-in for Virtus.pro Prodigy last month.

Aside from being one of the most prolific support players to have come out of the region, Lil is also expected to share leadership responsibilities with the HR’s carry player, Nix.

Nix notably assumed the captainship of the team after the departure of former team captain Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov last month.

HR’s roster now includes Nix, Lil, Arslan “xannii” Shandjanov, and Gleb “Funn1k” Lipatnikov, though they are still missing a position 5 support player. The team is currently competing in ESL One Germany 2020 with Dmitriy “kickeed” Pilyaev, presumably on a trial basis.

HR’s roster moves is the latest in an ongoing major roster shuffle in the CIS region, which already saw Natus Vincere sign the roster of FlyToMoon and Virtus.pro bench its main roster towards the end of September.
