The Champion of Champions Tour Season 1 Global Finals (CCT Season 1 Global Finals) sets the stage for an epic showdown between formidable Counter-Strike 2 teams.

Sixteen of the world’s best CS2 squads lock horns in an online tournament from May 16 to 23 this year.

This tournament is the culminating event of the Champion of Champions Tour’s inaugural season, which has seen multiple online events in different regions.

It hosts 16 teams — nine invited and seven from qualifiers — vying for the biggest share of the US$500,00 prize pool.

Matches are played online, with European servers as the designated region.

The tournament is divided into group stage and playoffs.

In group stage, the 16 teams are divided into four groups with a double-elimination format (GSL).

The top two teams from each group advance to the playoffs, which feature a single elimination bracket.

The quarterfinal and semifinal matches are best-of-three, while the grand final is best-of-five.
