The post-2023 Call of Duty League season rostermania is in full swing as the Los Angeles Guerrillas take the roster down to just one player.

The organization revealed that it would not be exercising the team option on three of its players moving into the free agency period. The official date for the expiration of Call of Duty League contracts is July 2.

The CDL organization revealed the move in a tweet, stating that Adam “Assault” Garcia, Kaden “Exceed” Stockdale, and Joseph “JoeDeceives” Romero would be up for grabs as they continue exploring their “options during this offseason.”

They did add, however, that those options do include “the possibility of their re-signing.” This means that while they won’t exercise the team option for these three players, they are open to the possibility to signing them again for the CDL 2024 season.

Alec “Arcitys” Sanderson, former FaZe star and world champion, is the lone player that will remain on the LA Guerrillas roster as they look to build a contender.

These drastic changes are a result of the squad finishing near the bottom of the standings in 11th place out of 12 teams. This meant they fell short of making it to the Call of Duty League Championship event, having their season ended early.

To make matters worse, they only netted $10,000 in earnings throughout all five Majors.

This is certainly a wake-up call, and fans are hoping the organization makes some big signings that can help elevate them in the upcoming year.

The announcement came shortly after OpTic Texas revealed it’d be releasing two players of its own.
