What is the VR-11 in MW3 Zombies?
The VR-11 is a new wonder weapon that enables you to shoot zombies or mercenaries, and turn them into allies that attack zombies or serve as decoy.
Additionally, you can shoot a teammate with it to make them invisible, giving them extra damage for a few seconds.

What’s more, you can repair vehicles using this weapon. This is especially important in defending your ACV tank to complete the Escort Contract.
How to get VR-11 wonder weapon in MW3 Zombies
Below are the various ways to obtain the VR-11. However, there is no surefire method to acquire it.
Find Mystery Boxes
The easiest way to get a VR-11 is by opening a Mystery Box.

Use your tac map and look for a chest icon to find one. You need 950 Essence to open this box, which offers random weapons.
Complete contracts within the Red Zone and Dark Aether
Fulfilling contracts in the Red Zone and Dark Aether allows you to enter exceptional Reward Rifts.
There’s a chance that these Reward Rifts contain great weapon blueprints and wonder weapon cases, which may include the VR-11.
But make sure to arm yourself with a tier three Pack-A-Punched gun to beat the formidable zombies in said areas.
Defeat Gorm’gant in Dark Aether
Beating Gorm’gant at the end of the Bad Signal mission in Dark Aether is the best option to acquire a VR-11.
When you’ve killed this worm boss, it will drop a rare loot, which may include a VR-11 or Ray Gun case.
However, defeating Gorm’gant is easier said than done. You need teammates to pull it off, or a powerful loadout if you want to go solo.
