Garena and Tencent have confirmed that a series of 1v1 matches will be played during the Arena of Valor International Championship (AIC 2020).

This is the second time that a 1v1 tournament will be held in the AIC, as last year’s inaugural exhibition was well-received by fans.

Buriram United Esports’ Thai mid laner Anurak “NuNu” Saengjan became the first-ever AIC 1v1 champion after beating Romanian jungler Vex from Nova Esports last year. Nunu bagged US$5,000 by winning the best-of-three match.

This year’s 1v1 Tournament will take place during the AIC 2020 quarter-finals on December 2. Each of the 12 participating teams can send out their best player to compete in the 1v1.

AIC 2020 will kick off its group stage on November 19 with a total of 12 participating teams from Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Taiwan, Korea, and China. You can follow the action live on Garena’s RoV Thailand and Indonesia YouTube channels.
