Thai organization X10 Esports is Southeast Asia’s representative for the upcoming VCT Stage 2 Masters tournament in Reykjavík, Iceland.

X10 Esports had the best VCT SEA Stage 2 Challengers Finals run. They won all their matches starting from the upper bracket quarterfinals, all the way to the Grand Final.

X10 Esports beat Taiwanese team CBT Gaming, Filipino squad 6045 Pirates, and Singapore-based team Paper Rex en route to the Grand Final, where they then defeated rival Thai squad FULL SENSE.

The team played brilliantly during their first game on Ascent. FULL SENSE managed to keep the score before the half. But after Patiphan “Patiphan” Chaiwong scored an Ace during the ninth round, X10 Esports dominated the rest of the game and went up 1-0.

During Game 2 on Icebox, X10 took a commanding 10-2 lead at halftime. FULL SENSE fought valiantly, and almost pulled off a huge comeback by winning eight rounds after.

Unfortunately for FULL SENSE, X10’s Patiphan rose up to carry his team by getting four kills with Jett’s Blade Storm to end game two.

The match looked all but over when X10 went up 8-4 against FULL SENSE in the third game on Bind. However, FULL SENSE fought back, and won 15-13 in overtime.

FULL SENSE’s Kititkawin “PTC” Rattanasukol shared after the match that Bind was their best map. This is why they knew they always had a chance to win on it, no matter how behind they were.

Much like the earlier games, X10 once again took the early lead at halftime with an 8-4 score.

This time however, X10 didn’t give FULL SENSE a chance to breathe, and ended the game 13-9. X10’s controller main, Nutchapon “sScary” Matarat, came up big on Haven, finishing with a 25/14/7 KDA.

With X10’s VCT SEA Stage 2 Challengers Finals win, they now join the best Valorant teams from around the world in the upcoming Masters 2 competition in Reykjavík, Iceland.

When asked which team X10 was most excited to face, Thanamethk “Crws” Mahatthananuyut said they’d like to go up against top North American squad Sentinels.

“It’s because a lot of people say they’re the best team, and we believe we can put up a good fight against them,” said Crws.

X10 Esports join Sentinels and Version1 from North America, Team Liquid and Fnatic from Europe, NUTURN Gaming from Korea, and Crazy Raccoon from Japan as the first teams to qualify for Reykjavík, Iceland.

VCT Masters 2 will take place from May 24 to 30.
