The best teams from the region are set to compete in the upcoming VCT SEA Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs where the top two teams will qualify for VCT Stage 3 Masters Berlin.

The tournament will host the winners of Southeast Asia’s VCT Stage 3 Challengers Main Event champions from Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Hongkong & Taiwan, and Malaysia & Singapore.


What is the VCT SEA Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs?

The tournament will decide the final two teams from the SEA region that will advance to VCT Stage 3 Masters Berlin in September.

With the 2021 VCT season coming to a close, all teams are looking to earn more VCT Circuit Points to qualify for the Valorant Champions Tournament at the end of the year.

VCT SEA Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs will be delayed until August 13 due to the rising health concerns in the region caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Given these recent developments with the pandemic, we are opting to hold a more streamlined event that will ensure the safety of all participants while delivering an exciting viewing experience to fans across the region,” shared PPGL.



Format of the SEA Playoffs

The competition begins with the Group Stage where four teams will be separated into four groups that follow a single round-robin format.

All teams will play a best-of-one match. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Playoffs.

The Playoffs will adopt a double-elimination format, with all eight teams competing in best-of-three matches. All Playoffs series will be best-of-three matches, except for the Grand Final, which will be a best-of-five.
