Indonesian esports organization, BOOM Esports has revealed its complete Valorant roster.

BOOM’s Valorant lineup consists of an all-Indonesian roster that includes Nanda “asteriskk” Rizana, Gary “blaZeK1ng” Dastin, Adrian “adrnkiNg” Setiawan, Riyan “notoriouszx” Fiqri Noviansyah, and Agung “Sys” Frianto.

The team mainly consists of ex-CS:GO pro players who’ve decided to make the switch to Valorant, much like the majority of newly formed Valorant teams. Asteriskk was previously a pro CS:GO player for BOOM Esports when the organization was still called BOOM ID in 2016, before becoming a full-time streamer for BOOM in 2018.

Meanwhile, blaZeK1ng, adrnkiNg, Sys also came from the CS:GO pro scene. Each of them had brief stints competing in the Southeast Asian region, up until they all decided to pursue a new career in Valorant.

The Valorant esports scene in Southeast Asia has just begun to gain traction, compared to the flourishing competitive regions of North America and Europe. But as Riot Games aims to grow Valorant’s competitive scene in as many regions as possible with its Ignition Series, fans can expect to see more teams and tournament announcements for the SEA region in the future.
