ONE Esports, a subsidiary of Group ONE Holdings (ONE), has entered a series of partnerships with insurance company FWD, Marriott International’s award-winning travel program, Marriott Bonvoy, and quick service restaurant McDonald’s Philippines.

“I am excited to unveil ONE Esports’ latest strategic partnerships with FWD, Marriott Bonvoy, and McDonald’s Philippines. These partnerships will grow the esports ecosystem, and they reaffirm ONE Esports’ commitment to scale esports globally with the world’s best brands,” said Carlos Alimurung, CEO, ONE Esports. “We are thrilled to have these partners join us in our mission to share and celebrate the stories of esports heroes who ignite the world with strength, hope, dreams, and inspiration.”

The partnership between ONE Esports and FWD will see FWD sponsor this year’s Mobile Legends Professional League Invitational in Indonesia, where the top teams across Southeast Asia compete to be the region’s best. ONE Esports will also feature FWD on its website, oneesports.gg, as well as create custom content for the brands’ flagship app, FWD Moments.

“Our partnership with ONE Esports extends FWD’s vision of changing the way people feel about insurance to the esports community. We’re excited to celebrate living with athletes, teams and fans across the region with stories, behind the scenes footages and curated content,” said Troy Barnes, Group Chief Transformation Officer at FWD Insurance.

Marriott Bonvoy has teamed up with ONE Esports to expand their reach to passionate and engaged esports fans in Singapore and Malaysia via local Mobile Legends: Bang Bang community tournaments. Marriot Bonvoy and ONE Esports also plan to launch an esports talk show together in 2022.

“Marriott Bonvoy has evolved from a rewards program to an immersive and inclusive travel program, and we look forward to collaborating with ONE Esports to bring our expression of good travel in both virtual and physical settings to gamers across the region,” said Julie Purser, Vice President, Marketing, Loyalty & Partnerships, Marriott International, Asia Pacific.

McDonald’s Philippines has recently partnered with ONE Esports to provide food and services to the esports community at the Mobile Legends Professional League Invitational. McDonald’s hopes to boost brand exposure and gaming community involvement with the highly anticipated Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament.

“McDonald’s Philippines is excited to partner with ONE Esports in the upcoming Mobile Legends Professional League Invitational. With the busy lifestyle of e-gamers, we commit to continuously support the community with convenient access to delicious food anytime, anywhere with McDelivery,” said Oliver Rabatan, AVP for Marketing and Channels, McDonald’s Philippines.
