Blizzard Entertainment has released details on the Overwatch League’s 2019 All-Star Game, which will be kicking off on May 15.

The league’s All-Star festivities will run from May 15 to May 16, with the All-Star players from the Pacific and Atlantic divisions competing in a series of custom games on the first day before the official All-Star game the next day.

Fans of the Overwatch League will be voting for the six starting players that will represent each division, with each roster accommodating up to two players from each role: support, tank, and DPS.

The voting period for the All-Star starters will run until April 28, with the starting rosters to be announced in early May.

In addition, a total of 24 other players — 12 from each division — will also be voted into the roster of All-Star reserves. They will be selected by Overwatch League players, coaches, casters, and league staff, with the complete rosters of reserves to be announced in mid-May.

Fans will need to log into their Blizzard Battle.net account in order to build their All-Star rosters.

In order to be eligible for a spot on the All-Star teams, players first need to have played at least 10 maps during regular-season matches. In addition, any active player who was a 2018 All-Star will be automatically eligible to be voted onto a team as a starter or added as a reserve.

The players of the expansion team Vancouver Titans will be among the apparent favorites to make the Pacific Division All-Star team, as they took the Stage 1 championship without losing a single match in both the regular season and the playoffs.

The Atlantic Division will likely feature the MVP of the Overwatch League’s inaugural season, SeongHyun “JJONAK” Bang. JJONAK plays for the New York Excelsior, who notably finished the Stagw 1 regular season with a perfect 7-0 record.

The Overwatch League 2019 All-Star Game will be held on the Blizzard Arena in Los Angeles, with the May 15 matches to be aired live on ESPN2, and the May 16 All-Star Game to be aired live on ESPNEWS.

Both days of All-Star festivities will also be live and on demand on overwatchleague.com, the Overwatch League app, our Twitch channel, MLG.com, and the MLG app.
