NBA 2K19 has released its latest ratings update, headlined by the boost to Oklahoma City Thunder forward Paul George as he continues to put up MVP-worthy numbers for the season.

George has been putting up 35.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 2.3 steals — all while shooting over 45% on threes — to propel the Thunder to the third seed in the Western Conference after the team’s slow start to the season. For his effort, George has been given a two-point boost to his rating, putting him at 94 overall and rightly among the league’s best players.

Other streaking superstars, such as Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors and Kyrie Irving of the Boston Celtics, were given one-point boosts.

Meanwhile, Pascal Siakam of the Toronto Raptors is now at a solid 85 overall. The Cameroonian has been a revelation this season, showing steady improvement to become one of the best players for one of the contenders from the Eastern Conference. Posting 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game — with a career-high 44 points last February 14 against the Washington Wizards — Siakam is a lock to win the Most Improved Player award this season.

The rest of the update accounted for minor adjustments in ratings for many of the league’s role players, especially now that the NBA is just about 25 games away from the playoffs.
