The NBA 2K19 Asia Tournament Finals has been announced, with the much-awaited grand finale set to be held on March 2 in the Philippines.
2K Games, Inc. announced the date and venue for the Asia Tournament Finals through a post on the official NBA 2K19 Facebook page.
The venue for the finale will be the TriNoma Activity Center in Quezon City.
The eight best players from the four participating countries in the tournament — namely the Philippines, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and South Korea — will be facing off to see who will be claiming the lion’s share of the US$10,000 prize pool.
The grand prize of US$6,000 will go to the champion, while the first runner up will claim US$2,500, with US$1,000 and US$500 awaiting the second and third runners up, respectively.
The participants in the Final were chosen through a series of qualifying tournaments held in each of the participating countries from November 2018 to March 2019.
