ONE Esports has announced the inaugural Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Invitational, which will take place from 2 May to 5 July 2020.

Top teams from all over the world will compete for a total prize pool of US$150,000.

The ONE Esports Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Invitational will be the first of two Mobile Legends: Bang Bang competition series promoted jointly with MLBB developer, Moonton.

The competitions will develop the best MLBB teams, share and celebrate the stories of esports heroes, and inspire MLBB fans all around the world.

We will not only provide the community with opportunities to compete against the best Mobile Legends: Bang Bang teams, but also execute a world-class competition series that engages and wows esports fans,” said Carlos Alimurung, CEO of ONE Esports.

Schedule

Country online qualifiers will be held from 2 May to 17 May, with the Main Event taking place in Jakarta from 1 July to 5 July.

The schedule for the online qualifiers is as follows:

  • 2-3 May – Indonesia and Singapore
  • 9-10 May – Philippines and Malaysia
  • 16-17 May – Thailand and Laos (combined), and Myanmar

Prize Money

The overall winners of the ONE Esports Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Invitational will take home US$50,000, followed by US$25,000 for second place, US$20,000 for third place, and US$15,000 for fourth place. Fifth and sixth place get US$8,000 each, seventh and eigth place get US$6,000 each, ninth and 10th place get US$4,000 each, and 11th and 12th place get US $2,000 each.
