This is a huge blow to the Indonesian squad.

Geek Fam jungler Manuel “Nnael” Simbolon will miss two matches at the M5 World Championship, Moonton Games announced on Facebook.

This comes after the Indonesian jungler was caught flashing an inappropriate gesture after their 2-1 victory over Deus Vult on the fourth day of the group stage.

According to Moonton, the jungler violated a rule that prohibits team members from making inappropriate and insulting gestures.

“We will take active steps to ensure that all teams are reminded of the rules concerning professionalism,” they wrote.

Geek Fam issued a statement on their social media channels, apologizing for the incident.

“This is a responsibility we take as a team, not as a single individual. We hope everyone forgives our weakness in the heat of the moment.”

Nnael has also personally apologized on Instagram, stating that what he did cannot be justified.

“I am very sorry, and promise to be more careful about my attitude, and will not do it again. Maybe I was too excited and happy because this was an important moment for me as it is my first time (competing) in an international tournament,” he wrote on his Instagram story.
