Popular 100 Thieves streamer and content creator Rachel “Valkyrae” Hofsetter has ditched Twitch to sign a multi-year deal to stream exclusively on YouTube.

The deal was first reported by esports insider Rod “Slasher” Breslau, who said that the terms for the deal were less than the over US$1 million that other streamers have received in their own exclusivity deals.

The deal also follows a number of now-former Twitch streamers being pried away from the platform by its competitors, most notably Mixer’s acquisitions of Tyler “Ninja” Blevins and Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek.

Breslau added that the deal was negotiated by Valkyrae’s agency, United Talent Agency. The agency also counts other popular streamers, such as Imane “Pokimane” Anys, Jeremy “Disguised Toast” Wang, Lily “Lilypichu” Ki, and Michael “imaqtpie” Santana, among its list of clients.

Valkyrae’s fellow 100T streamer and former Call of Duty caster Jack “CouRage” Dunlop also signed an exclusive streaming deal with YouTube in November last year.

As of the time of writing, Valkyrae has over 945 thousand followers on Twitch and over 820 thousand subscribers on YouTube.
