The annual online event 2020 Alienware Games is back, and this year participants can win over US$150,000 worth of prizes.

In partnership with the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) and open platform Overwolf, the 2020 Alienware Games will include competitive matches in League of Legends, Fortnite, and Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO).

American and Canadian gamers can join the almost two-month long event from July 17 to September 11.

By playing these online titles, players can earn points to rank up on the leaderboard. Aside from playing, additional points can be gained by posting insane gaming clips on social media with the hashtag #2020AlienwareGames and by watching the LCS Summer Split on the LoL Esports Website to receive codes.

Each week, the top 250 players will win in-game currencies, with the overall top 16 players bagging the futuristic-lookin Alienware Aurora R9 high-end gaming desktop.

There will be multiple raffles too so all participants will have higher chances of winning prizes.

Additionally, professional players like Team Liquid’s Mads “Broxah” Brock-Pedersen and streamers like Misfits Gaming’s Amalie “ProxyFox” Reisvaag will be joining in for the games.

Gamers can join the 2020 Alienware Games by downloading the official event app from the Overwolf store. This event is open only to USA and Canada residents.
