Samsung has officially launched the Odyssey OLED G9 gaming monitor.

The OLED G9 is the latest in the Odyssey series, Samsung’s line of gaming monitors. For those already familiar with two-monitor setups, the G9 essentially combines that into one 49-inch curved screen — with a 5,120 x 1,440 resolution in a 32:9 ratio, and 240 Hz refresh rate.

The monitor also comes with Samsung’s Neo Quantum Processor Pro, which uses a deep learning algorithm to analyze and upscale images to fit its monstrous resolution.

How much does the Odyssey OLED G9 costs?

The Odyssey OLED G9 is now available for preorder in Singapore, with general availability starting 26 June at S$3,399 (about US$2,535) — a hefty price that will need an equally beefy device to use the monitor to its full potential.

In addition, consumers who preorder the Odyssey OLED G9 will receive a complimentary Galaxy Tab S7 FE Wi-Fi 64GB.

To celebrate the launch of the Odyssey OLED G9, the Odyssey Cup — a Fortnite tournament featuring 100 participants — will be held on the official Samsung Odyssey Twitch channel on June 22.

Get ahead of the game and preorder the Odyssey OLED G9 on Amazon, wherever you may be.
