In 2023, Epic Games took that collaboration to a new level with Fortnite Festival, an in-launcher rhythm game. This Billie Eilish Fortnite skin will be a continuation of their efforts.
When does the Billie Eilish Fortnite skin release?
After The Weeknd and Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish is next to grace Fortnite Festival’s main stage. The Oscar-winning singer took to X to announce the collaboration.
Epic Games has kept the details of the hotly-anticipated event under wraps, only sharing her announcement. Apart from the release date of Billie Eilish’s Fortnite skin and in-game events, not much is yet known.
Billie Eilish’s Fortnite skin will become available in the Fortnite Festival shop on April 23.
Fortnite Rhythm has previously had A-lister artists grace the main stage. Billie Eilish is the next headliner for Fortnite Festival’s event.
This means songs from her discography will be added to the Fortnite Festival mode, along with a neon-green Billie Eilish’s Fortnite skin, themed cosmetics, and songs to be unlocked throughout the Festival-specific battle pass.
Players can also play as Billie Eilish and use her rotating songs to compete for high scores.
Currently, Epic Games hasn’t made any official announcements, but Lady Gaga’s Festival had Premium rewards as well as free ones. Players could unlock four of her additional jam tracks and a new outfit by purchasing Premium rewards for 1,800 V-Bucks.
Billie Eilish’s event will likely get the same treatment, which means fans could expect some old tunes from her discography, like Ocean Eyes or You Should See Me In a Crown. The possibilities are endless.
