The King is coming back for a second reign in Western Europe.

Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan will put in his second stint for Team Secret, the WEU team announced last night.

The 24-year-old will be playing in place of Armel “Armel” Tabios, who is “getting some well-deserved rest with his family,” according to Secret.

Team Secret roster for BetBoom Dacha

  • Remco “Crystallis” Arets
  • Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan
  • Saieful “Fbz” Ilham
  • Daniyal “yamich” Lazebnyy
  • Clement “Puppey” Ivanov

The midlaner is still under contract with Nigma Galaxy, but is also on loan at Team Aster. Unfortunately, none of the teams involved are playing at The International 2023 — possibly the reason why the 25-year-old can play for another team so close to October.

Team Secret’s current roster came close to qualifying for TI12 through the WEU qualifier. The team fell to eventual finalists Quest Esports in the lower bracket semifinal, a tense three-game series.

BetBoom Dacha features eight of the best Dota 2 teams in the world — with six of them scheduled to make an appearance at TI12 later in the year — battling over a US$250,000 prize pool.

Eight teams will play through a group stage before being seeded into the playoffs, with the winner standing to win the lion’s share of a prize pool — US$150,000.
