Entity is making changes to its Dota 2 roster following The International 2023.

Daniel “Stormstormer” Schoetzau, who broke out as one of Europe’s best midlaners in his two years with Entity, was moved to the inactive roster, Entity announced this morning.

The midlaner wrote on his personal Twitter account that he would be looking for a new team as a midlaner, and that his “dedication to this game and being a good teammate is just like before.”

Stormstormer has gained a reputation as a premier Invoker player, as well as playing high-skill casters like Puck and Lina to great success.

Entity has established itself as one of the top teams in an incredibly competitive region, often attending Majors as a representative of Western Europe. With Stormstormer, the team attended two The Internationals in 2022 and 2023, finishing in joint-ninth both times.

Entity, who had to go through the Regional Qualifier to attend TI12, started the group stage with a 4-4 record, but fell to Azure Ray in the seeding match to begin their playoffs in the lower bracket. Following a convincing win against tournament favorites Entity, the team was upset by the young, upstart Virtus Pro, ending their campaign as a top 12 team.
