Popular Singapore cosplayer, Kiyo, will be debuting her first-ever Dota cosplay at the ONE Esports Dota 2 Singapore World Pro Invitational.
Kiyo is one of the most well-known personalities in the Singapore cosplay scene and has traveled all over the world representing Singapore at gaming events and conventions.
Kiyo has been cosplaying since 2010 and was first introduced to the hobby by a school friend.
“I went to a small cosplay gathering that my friend had organized and seeing everyone genuinely enjoying themselves, and expressing their love for their character by dressing and roleplaying, made me want to give it a go myself,” Kiyo told ONE Esports.
Since then Kiyo has cosplayed a wide range of anime and gaming characters, from Overwatch’s Ashe to LoL’s Akali.
One game that Kiyo has never cosplayed is Dota 2, despite being a huge fan of reigning TI champions, OG.
However, that all changes at the ONE Esports Dota 2 Singapore World Pro Invitational, as Kiyo will be debuting her first-ever Dota 2 cosplay.
Catch Kiyo’s new costume at the ONE Esports Dota 2 Singapore World Pro Invitational on December 20-22 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. The tournament will feature 12 of the best Dota 2 teams in the world competing for a share of the US$500,000 prize pool.
