North American studio Beyond the Summit have announced that the Southeast Asian leg of their BTS Pro Series of online tournaments will be returning for a second season from June 5-20.

Season 2 of BTS Pro Series: SEA will feature a prize pool of US$50,000 and 10 participating teams compared to the eight it hosted for its first season.

The list of participating teams will be headlined by top SEA team and Season 1 champions Fnatic and runners-up TNC Predator. They will be joined by returning teams Geek Fam, Team Adroit, BOOM Esports, Reality Rift, and T1. The field will be rounded out by newcomers Execration, Cignal Ultra, and LGD.international.

The tournament will kick off with a Group Stage from June 5-16 followed by the Playoffs, scheduled from June 17-20.

As with the previous season, the group stage will be a single round-robin with all matches being a best-of-two. The top four teams will advance to the Upper Bracket of the Playoffs, the 5th-8th place teams will advance to the Lower Bracket, while the bottom two teams will be eliminated.

The Playoffs will be a double-elimination bracket with all matches being a best-of-three except for the Grand Finals, which will be a best-of-five series.

Beyond the Summit first announced it will be hosting the BTS Pro Series back in April, with two separate divisions for SEA and the Americas. The studio has not yet announced plans to host a second season for the American division of the BTS Pro Series, however.
