A moment before his demise, Nanami expressed a desire to build a house on an empty beach in Kuantan, Malaysia.

Despite suffering severe injuries from his encounters, he fought bravely, daydreaming about a peaceful life on the beach. Inspired by this heartfelt wish, fans took it upon themselves to create a landmark on Google Maps titled the “Nanami Memorial Shrine” in Kuantan, Malaysia.

The latest update on Google Maps shows that the memorial has garnered 5-star reviews. The comment section, a digital tribute to the fallen sorcerer, is filled with goodbyes to the former salaryman turned hero.

Malaysia Airlines went so far as to feature Nanami’s final scene from JJK, encouraging fans to explore Kuantan.

A fascinating development has taken center stage just four months after JJK season 2 ended. The Malaysian government is currently in negotiations with Gege Akutami, the Series’ creator, and Shueisha, the series’ publisher, to establish a permanent memorial for the beloved character Nanami.

This initiative gained public attention when reports of Leong Yu Man, a Malaysian tourism executive, expressed the department’s eagerness to leverage JJK’s popularity to promote a beach in Kuantan.

“Fans have creatively marked this beach on Google Maps as a memorial for Nanami,” said Leong Yu Man. “Our hope is that securing the creator’s endorsement will allow the beach to become a new attraction for JJK fans worldwide.”
