During their time in the senior league, Kiyomine and Kaname were so skilled that they not only won but also dashed the hopes of many junior high school players they faced.

However, after Kaname lost his memory, the two enrolled in Kotesashi High School, a relatively unknown public school. They encountered former rivals who had given up baseball after facing them in junior high.
