What is ReZero?
ReZero − Starting Life in Another World is a Japanese light novel series written by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichirou Otsuka.
The story follows Subaru Natsuki, an ordinary high school student who finds himself transported to a fantasy world. After being mysteriously summoned, Subaru discovers that he has gained the ability to return to a predetermined “save point” whenever he dies.
With this power, Subaru goes on a journey to uncover the secrets of the world he’s been transported to and to save those he cares about.
However, he soon realizes that his ability comes with its own set of challenges and consequences, as he faces numerous trials, encounters various characters, and confronts the harsh realities of the world.

Subaru receives a letter from a messenger representing Anastasia, a candidate in the King’s Selection. The letter invites Emilia to Pristella, one of Lugunica’s Five Major Cities.
Accepting the invitation, Subaru’s party sets off for Pristella, anticipating various reunions along the way.
