Dracule Mihawk (Steven Ward), also known as Hawk Eyes, is the pirate who owns the mantle of “Strongest Swordsman in the World.” Roronoa Zoro (Mackenyu Arata) sees him as the man whom he has to beat to gain that title.

Mihawk’s threat level is undeniable, heightened by his possession of the legendary blade known as Yoru, one of the esteemed 12 Supreme Grade swords.

Why was Mihawk’s bounty canceled in One Piece?

In the world of One Piece, bounties issued on pirates and criminals can be nullified or rescinded for a multitude of reasons.

In the case of Mihawk, he forged an alliance with the World Government, earning the distinguished title of one of the “Warlords of the Sea.” As part of this accord, his bounty was essentially rendered null and void, and he was officially recognized as an ally of the government.
