Former CS:GO pro, Tyson “TenZ” Ngo has became the first North American player to earn the highest rank in Valorant, which is simply called “Valorant”.
Tenz has been grinding the game’s ranked mode, ever since it rolled out on April 30. TenZ initially reached the Immortal rank after finishing his five placement matches.

In comparison, former CS:GO pro and Cloud9 player, Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek only reached the Diamond rank after going 3-2 on his own placement matches.
As more players continue grinding away on Valorant’s new ranked mode, the community is getting a sense of which players are going to dominate the game, and it seems that ex-CS:GO pros are populating the Valorant leaderboards.
Riot has yet to release an official ranked leaderboard, but players can expect to have it patched into the game later on.
