Paper Rex’s Ilya “something” Petrov will make his global Valorant debut at Valorant Champions 2023.

The Russian player confirmed that he will be traveling to the United States, posting a message on his personal Twitter.

Something previously had visa issues during the last global VCT LAN event. He couldn’t attend Masters Tokyo, forcing PRX to compete with substitute player Patiphan “CigaretteS” Posri.

The VCT Pacific League champions will journey to Los Angeles, California, to participate in this year’s Valorant world championship.

At the time of writing, PRX will be with their entire roster, including the VCT Pacific League grand finals MVP something.

PRX was on an 8-0 win streak in the VCT Pacific League after the team moved something to the starting roster and benched long-standing IGL Benedict “Benkai” Tan.

Even though something played a crucial role in PRX’s success during the VCT Pacific League run, he, unfortunately, had to miss the entire Masters Tokyo tournament because he couldn’t obtain a visa in time.

Despite the absence of their Russian star, PRX finished third at Masters Tokyo, only losing to the two finalists, Evil Geniuses and Fnatic.

PRX’s prospects for a successful run at Valorant Champions 2023 have significantly improved since they will now compete with their full roster in the year’s most prominent Valorant event.

There is a real possibility that they could become the first Pacific team to win a global VCT event.
