Seonwoo “Infiltration” Lee has announced that he has officially ended his self-imposed exile and will be competing in the Capcom Pro Tour 2020.

The six-time Evo champion posted on Twitter that he has registered for both Evo Japan 2020 and Final Round 2020.

In 2018, Infiltration voluntarily stepped down from the 2018 Capcom Pro Tour season, after news broke about controversial allegations of domestic abuse against his ex-wife. This forced Infiltration to put his Street Fighter pro career on hold, and withdraw himself from Capcom Cup 2018 and the entirety of the Capcom Pro Tour 2019 season.

However, he is now ready to make his comeback as he’s already registered for both Evo Japan 2020 and Final Round 2020, two events he won back in 2018.

He’s set to compete in both Street Fighter V and Samurai Shodown. Back in Evo 2019, Infiltration showed the FGC that he’s still got it after he won Samurai Shodown by defeating Ryota “Kazunoko” Inoue.

Meanwhile, over in Street Fighter, it’s hard to determine how things will pan out for him. His last CPT event was back in Evo 2018. At the time, he was still playing Menat. But since then, Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition has gone through many changes, including the introduction of three new characters to the game.

Evo Japan is set to take place at Makuhari Messe in Japan on January 24-26, 2020; while Final Round will take place at the Hilton Atlanta Airport, in Hapeville, Georgia on March 20-22, 2019.
