If you’re an Xbox One gamer who’s been on the fence about picking up the latest iteration of the top-selling NBA 2K series, you’re in luck. NBA 2K20 is the featured title on Xbox Live’s latest Free Play Days promotion.

Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members are eligible to enjoy the free trial, which kicked off on Thursday, October 24 at 3:01 p.m. GMT+8. Access to the full game will last until Monday, October 28 at 2:59 p.m. GMT+8.

After the free-to-play period, you can purchase the game directly from the Xbox Store. Any progress you make, as well as Xbox Gamerscore earned during the promotional period will be carried over to the full game should you decide to buy.

NBA 2K20 recently made headlines when it blazed to the top of the year’s video game best-seller list just one month since it was released. The title has enjoyed immense success, sales-wise, despite plenty of resonant criticism and backlash online.

The Standard Edition of NBA 2K20 retails at US$60, with special Digital Deluxe and Legend Editions priced at US$80 and US$100, respectively.
