Dignitas is counting on two up and coming talents for its 2021 campaign in ex-100 Thieves academy players Aaron “FakeGod” Lee and Max “Soligo” Soong.

While the two had stints in the LCS with 100T, they saw limited action as substitutes.

“Going from Academy to LCS really means a lot to me,” said Soligo. “For me, I’m going to use this as chance to prove that I am now able to play at an LCS level and that my performance last year is not reflective to who I am now.”

While his 2020 performance was not up to his expectations, the former 100T mid-laner came in fourth in KDA (4.3) and assists (106) for the Academy summer.

As for his teammate FakeGod, the top-laner was third in overall kills (63) and fourth in assists (79), making him an adequate player that still has a lot of room to grow.

“I’m really excited going into the 2021 season because this opportunity to be playing in the LCS is a lot different,” stated FakeGod. “The time I played LCS for 100T, it was more of a spur of the moment and it was never planned. This time, I’m basically the first choice and I really want to prove myself.”

The promoted duo will be joining the likes of Joshua “Dardoch” Hartnett and Zaqueri “Aphroomoo” Black on the main Dignitas LCS roster. With no import slots taken, the team might look for a solid import talent to take the ADC role and complete the roster for next season.
