Honor of Kings Plus presents a massive update to the MOBA game.
This significant refresh introduces a brand-new, unique marksman hero named Flowborn, who possesses versatile weapons and skills that are effective across multiple lanes.
Players can also look forward to a host of new and improved features, all directly driven by valuable player feedback. This update aims to elevate the gaming experience, offering more depth and engagement than ever before.
Honor of Kings Plus is here to elevate player experience
Starting June 24, 2025 players can jump into a wealth of free improvements and fresh content, much of which was shaped by community feedback.

Honor of Kings players can gain stars in ranked even if you lose a match
The new Honor of Kings Plus update is set to give players more recognition for their individual performance, even if their team doesn’t win.
Star rewards will be based on “Result points,” which combine whether you won the match with your personal performance points. These personal performance points are a combination of your “basic evaluation” and “highlight moments,” all converted into a rating.
This means you can earn ratings and Stars by achieving “Highlight Moments” in a match. For example, if you single-handedly destroy a high-ground tower and then the opponent’s crystal, your rating will jump straight to SSS.
If you carry the game with a perfect score, you’ll earn an additional two-star rating. Even in a tough 1v9 scenario, if you put in your best effort but can’t carry the match, you might still retain or even gain Stars.

And, if you’re on the losing side and aren’t the MVP but still get a gold medal, there’s a potential for you to gain Stars.
What’s more, the global version of Honor of Kings Plus will offer a more transparent system than the Chinese version, with each rating tier clearly linked to specific bonus points. This means you’ll have a clearer understanding of how your actions translate into rewards.
“As a live game, the onus is on the development team to listen closely to player feedback and continue to evolve Honor of Kings,” commented Game Producer, Dean Huang. “With Honor of Kings Plus, we have really pushed ourselves to introduce new, groundbreaking and engaging content and refine existing features. We look forward to the response of the community.”
New and improved Honor Pass
The Honor Pass system, a major pain point for the community, has been completely revamped. It now features a streamlined mission system that serves as the main way to earn event-based rewards.

Players will now earn experience by completing Honor Pass missions, achieving Highlight Moments, and finishing campaigns. This experience can then be used to upgrade Honor Pass levels and unlock even more rewards.
As an added bonus, for the first month after updating the game, all players will receive a free Elite Pass.
The first new Honor Pass will be KWC-themed. At Level 1, players will immediately unlock the Nuwa-Syzygy Moonlight skin. By staying active and leveling up to 80, they’ll also get the Alessio EWC skin for free.
For those who upgrade to the Deluxe Pass, an additional 398 tokens will be granted, which can be used for the next Honor Pass or a future one.
Battlefield changes that modify the pace of Honor of Kings

To address player concerns about overwhelming lane pushes, significant changes are coming to spawn times, attributes, and rewards across the battlefield.
First off, the mid lane will see an increase to four minions, and the Central River Sprite will be completely removed to improve flow and balance.
The top and bottom lane River Sprites and the Space Sprite will also have adjustments made to their respawn frequency, abilities, and rewards. Additionally, the Red Falcon’s spawn timing, skills, and rewards have been rebalanced.
To alleviate late-game pressure, Super minions in all three lanes will have their attributes lowered. You’ll also notice changes to the Turret shield system. Plus, the Teleport Summoner Skill is now permanently available with improved visuals.
Breaking language barriers

To further improve player communication, the development team is rolling out an exciting new feature starting June 24: real-time voice-to-text transcription and translation.
This powerful addition will augment the game’s existing translation features, making it even easier to connect with teammates and friends.
Initially, this enhanced functionality will support Chinese, English, Indonesian, and Malay, with the team actively exploring the possibility of adding more languages in the future.
This means you’ll be able to communicate more easily with your current friends and team members, and it will also help you forge new connections within the game.
