If you hate lag in your games, then Netgear’s newest gaming router may be your best bet.

Available now for S$399 (US$290), the Nighthawk Pro Gaming XR300 may be at the low end of Netgear’s gaming range, but it still packs in the performance a gamer needs.

The XR300 features a dual-core 1GHz processor and comes with Netgear’s Duma OS, which has some nifty tricks to help reduce lag, such as Geo-Filter which keeps you playing on nearer servers, a Quality of Service (QoS) feature that prioritizes gaming devices such as the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and a real-time bandwidth monitoring service.

The router itself will come with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, has dual-band 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz and 802.11 a/n/ac 5GHz WiFi, beamforming to get you the best wireless connection and three external antennas.
