Razer has entered a partnership with the Germany-based trade fair and event organizer Koelnmesse to bring Gamescom to Asia next year.

The strategic collaboration will see Razer as the official esports partner of the Asian edition of the annual European video game convention. Razer will be in charge of organizing and curating the event’s esports and gaming zone at its venue in Singapore.

The brand is also now the newest member of the Gamescom advisory committee.

Razer Global Esports Director David Tse has expressed his enthusiasm for a bigger and better esports scene for Asia with Gamescom’s arrival.

“This is an incredible moment for the gaming event landscape in the region,” said Tse. “Gamescom is the world’s biggest gaming event and we’re thrilled to partner [with] Koelnmesse to transform the face of esports in this region.”

“We invite gamers, communities, and partners to join us in support of Gamescom Asia 2020.”

Gamescom Asia will be a two-part event happening on October 15 – 18, 2020 at Suntec in Singapore. The first two days will feature an industry conference, while the latter three days will open the exhibition doors to the public gaming community.
