A single-player indie game published by Phoenixx with more than 9,000 downloads at the time of writing, it celebrated its one-year anniversary with a special stage show at Tokyo Indie Games Summit 2024 at Kichijoji.
What does “yincha” and “rabukome” mean? Yincharabukome story
Yincha (陰キャ) is a relatively new Japanese phrase that refers to introverts or socially awkward individuals, a local source told ONE Esports.
The word “yin” literally means shadow, while “cha” is short for character. Combined, the phrase refers to someone who does not like the spotlight, preferring solitary or low-key social activities.
“Rabukome” (ラブコメ) is short for love comedy. Altogether, the game’s name invites you to experience a comedic love story involving a club of introverts where you are the chairwoman.
